As an international Tourism and Heritage destination, it hosts 2 UNESCO world heritage sites Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort. It is amongst the first two cities in India, recently identified as a part of UNESCO Creative City Network. It is a Key node of the Golden Triangle Tourism Circuit which includes Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.
As Jaipur and is famous for its unique culture and history. The city attracts 75% of the total international tourist to India and has the second highest international tourist footfall after Agra in the country. In the last few years, the Government of Rajasthan has initiated a number of measures to position the state as the leading tourism state in the nation.
This Jaipur Smart City Project is an extension of what all have been done to showcase Jaipur as one of the dealing tourist destinations in the country.
JSCL is seeking technology to design, develop and hosting of the website with integrated QR Codes for tourists in order to help shape their experience when visiting Jaipur. The overall objective of the proposed project is to implement QR codes for tourist sites across Jaipur that will allow the tourist to access authentic and genuine information regarding the tourist sites. Approximately 50 locations are being planned to be included in a phased manner.
The cost of the project is approximately Rs. 0.11 cr.
