Ram Niwas Bagh was chosen for improvement, as it is the biggest open space adjoining ABD area. It also has the Albert Hall Museum in its premises which is one of its kinds in the city. The location has lots of greenery which attracts the residents of Jaipur and presence of museum attracts lots of national and international tourists. The green lawns surrounding the museum are resting place for many.
This project is taken up by Jaipur Smart City Limited in convergence with Jaipur Development Authority. The project was started on 15 April 2015 and was successfully completed with a year on 14 April 2016. The restoration work of ponds, chattris and other things like the walkway in front of the museum etc. has increased space for the movement of people walking in that area.
The project cost was 12.82 Cr. and expenditure incurred was 12.82 Cr. which was as per the project cost exactly.
The improvement of Ram Niwas Bagh has uplifted the total place and would be cherished by all coming to Jaipur.
