Shri Krishna Smart Circuit

Krishna Circuit project is a part of GOI’s ‘Swadesh Darshan’ scheme of re-discovering one’s own country. Jaipur has long-standing spiritual connections with Lord Shri Krishna and is identified as one of three places in Rajasthan to be taken up in this scheme

The circuit will connect important Krishna temples especially of Govind Devji and Gopinathji in the walled city and key heritage places like, JantarMantar, City Palace and Hawa Mahal. The Circuit is expected to become the Genius Loci of the city and will include Jai Niwas Bagh, Talkatora Lake, Pondrik Park, Jaleb Chowk, Choghan Stadium precinct, streets and other areas for interventions.

At a conceptual level, spreading love and brotherhood while exploring various dimensions of lord Krishna shall be the essence of the project. At the same time, improving physical dimension of the quality of life in this part of the city shall also be achieved through this project. In that sense, Sri Krishna Smart Circuit is a type of urban renewal project.Phase 1 of Shri Krishna Smart Circuit covers the journey from Tadkeshwar Temple to Govind Devji Temple. The path runs adjacent to Several Important Structures and Gates including City Palace, JantarMantar, Brij Nidhi Temple, Anand Krishan Bihari Ji Temple and passes through Aatish Market, Chandni Chowk and Jaleb Chowk.
